I have been wanting to carve a Bigfoot mask for a long time. These beings live all around the world and have been sighted as well. I have family members that have experiences related to them. I had this good size piece of Alder wood that I started to shape this year while working on cruise ships going on an Alaka Cruise. I would be invited as a Tlingit Ambassador and would do carving demonstrations and power point presentations. My wife would join me on these cruises, working as a tag team we would showcase the Tlingit culture and answer passengers questions as we shared stories of the Hoonah Tlingit people. Anyways Bigfoot is known of all over North America, in our legands and are still here today.
I like the way this mask turned out as I travel down my journey as an artist. I'll keep on creating as I'm inspired.
