Another Bigfoot-Sasquatch mask that I was inspired to carve. This one is carved from old growth red cedar which I think gives an overall different look because of the grain and color of the cedar. I also wanted to add natural elements to this mask. So I soaked some red cedar inner bark and made some cedar bark hair. I have used cedar bark hair on other masks over the years. I totally like the exression on this mask. Like all the carvings I make I get a connection as I make my way through the creating carving process. I have a passion for carving and am drawn to the process. I use the expression "Finding My Way" on all the pieces. I also say "I'm just a guy who likes to make wood chips".
