This is the 7th Tlingit formline Gaaw/Drum I have designed and painted this winter. My 2nd Keet/Killerwhale design. The 1st one is of an older Tlingit style Keet/Killerwhale. Both are nicely done and have a painted border. Adding a painted border is something that appeals to me as an artist. The Keet/Killerwhale are all up and down the coast. The Tribal people use the Keet as one of their Clan symbols.
